Healing Prayers	Announcements
Craig A. Mettlach ~ He conquered Hodgkin's over 20 years ago; he had a brief battle this time with spindle cell cancer. Never known for his patience, may his short life give answers to the UofR cancer researchers. Thank you, Craig, for donating your body so that others may live. Ged ~ As you told us, "The show must go on, kids." We will remember and love you always as the adopted father of our hearts. Peace be with you. Everyone in service of others and the greater good ~ from those in the military corps to the equally hard-working health care professionals around the world, especially our friend and brother, James Shahid in Afghanistan. Rev. Sylvia ~ May Pastor "Sam" find easy breath. For all mothers (and fathers) of babies born and unborn ~ May they know the peace. For all churches, religious persons, and congregations - may they work to find truth and peace within themselves and unity with all humankind.	We would like to thank all who helped the Spark of Divinity Congregation come into existence. Without the support of our community of friends and neighbors we couldn’t make this happen. We are looking forward to the growth of this congregation. If you have any ideas to spread the Spark, please chat with our co-pastors. Please see the flyers at the door for more happenings in the area. Do you have an event , class or announcement to share? (Remember competition is merely an illusion!) I wish to congratulate new Reiki practitioners - and Jeff and Claire for Master Certification! ART currently has Carolyn, Paula, Brian, Nadia, and Rose. May you be blessed in your work! Integrated Energy Therapy and Healing Angels classes are coming up again soon! We will look forward to seeing all of you at our next meeting places; please bring your own chair, table service and drink, as well as a small dish to pass for fellowship following service.

Hicks September 27th ~ TBD	In honor of privacy, everyone is welcome to place names in our healing book. All names will be added to our respective prayer circles. Understand the three books we hold dear - the Book of Light, a scrapbook of sorts, for all those who have transitioned that we hold in perpetual prayer; the Book of Healing, for all those to whom we send our current prayers, whether living or in spirit, human, our animal friends, and geographical areas that are in need of prayer. Our Book of Stewards may be a new concept to many - please add your name that morning if you feel drawn to facilitate healing during service and/or after services. We ask the congregation to refer to only one of those persons on that day. As we all know, there are days when we do not feel "up" to facilitating; this will relieve the awkwardness of saying "no" on any particular day. The pastors will also be able to reference and alternate those who serve during service, giving everyone an opportunity.
