The "Meddy" of Meddy's
Musings invites you to share your dreams with her, walk together on a path
of enlightenment, or simply "come in and sit a spell." Creating a shoppe
for talented local artists and craftspeople to vend their wares along with
providing a wellness and learning center for people of all belief systems
is quite a realized dream for this Williamson resident.
Following an earth-based faith,
Meddy shares a wealth of knowledge of the natural sciences and
metaphysical phenomenon with all who walk through her door. Her hope is
that all are empowered to develop their innate gifts to find balance in
the mind-body-spirit connection.
Coming from a diverse background, Meddy is a
Reiki Master & Practitioner, Therapeutic & Animal Intuitive, Tarot
and Alchemy stone Reader, and Artist (come see her Fantasy-Faery Wall).
Meddy is also available to officiate weddings, handfastings, and
commitment ceremonies. Life circle functions, such as births, adoptions,
marriages, relationship dissolvement ceremonies, and funerals are an
important part of celebrating our developments and acceptance of changes.

Jeff joins with his close
spiritual family to bring enlightenment, knowledge and visions shared
through his guides, Spiritual Teachers, and loved ones to you.
Most of his life he has dreamed of opening others to the light that
surrounds us all. Jeff believes that the knowledge and wisdom that
comes across on his path throughout this Universe belongs to everyone.
Attuned with the teachings of the
Masters of the Far East, like the Buddha, Jeff brings many aspects
of faiths from around the globe into his life and the energy that he
shares with everyone.
You will see Jeff around the
store enjoying mundane chores, doing the behind-the-scene work, and
tending to his shrine. Jeff will be teaching various classes and
facilitating healing sessions with all those who need services.
Following many paths throughout life, Jeff is an
Ordained Minister, Reiki Master, Integrated Energy Therapist, Intuitive, Oracle, Spiritual Healer, and
Artist. He is available to energetically cleanse homes and spaces,
preside over weddings, union ceremonies and funerals, as well as providing
services as a Paralegal and Notary

The far south corner of Meddy's
is often occupied by our Intuitive Massage Therapist who goes by the name
Doreen Scanlan-Joyner. Amidst her collection of stones and crystals,
which keep her grounded, she does intuitive tarot card readings to help
her clients see where their current energies are taking them.
If relaxation is more up your
alley, Doreen can accommodate you as well. Doreen graduated with
honors from Monroe Community College's Massage Therapy program and is now
providing both Swedish and Shiatsu massage therapy at Meddy's. This
fall, Ms. Scanlan-Joyner will also be offering classes on many different
topics.
Occasionally you may see Doreen
leading a guided meditation to help you explore your quiet places.
Following her native guidance, she also leads our drumming circles. "Make an appointment to relax," dare to ask for a glimpse into your
possible future or just stop by and share. |

A talented massage therapist, who
calls Wayne County his home, Rodney shares his gifts of reducing stress
and pain, and other relaxation techniques through his many massage
therapeutic talents. He specializes in Reflexology, Swedish, deep
tissue, myofascial release, and structural alignment and is licensed by
the Medical Boards of New York and Ohio.
Stop in to visit with Rodney on
Wednesday afternoons from 3pm until closing, and by appointment during the
rest of the week (Monday through Friday) when he's not serving our country
in the Air National Guard. |

Sage has worked as a
nurse and social worker for 40 years as well as working with families of
disabled children. She is versed in a wide range of bodywork techniques:
Reiki, Myofacial Release, Spiritual Response Therapy, Spiritual
Re-structuring and is a Medical Intuitive. Sage is an Ordained Minister,
an Integrated Energy Therapy Master Teacher as well as being certified in
Advanced Holistic Wellness and Spiritual Psychology.
Using her broad spectrum of healing techniques, Sage works with patients
to "see" energy patterns in the body and helps release the emotional and
energy blocks that prevent balance and alignment within the body. Sage can
also offer spiritual counseling and spiritual insights upon request. Her
greatest pleasure is to be of service to others and help facilitate the
kind of positive change that brings joy and fullness to their lives.

Our
newest Reiki practitioner and now nicknamed "Miracle Meditation Kitty", faithful greeter and animated paperweight, Onyx, will eagerly welcome you
each time you enter the shoppe (as long as you don't interrupt a nap or
sunbathing session) with his unusual vocal flair.
Onyx was
adopted into Jeff's family about 8 years ago and now, nearing his
fifteenth
year, finds himself in
retirement meeting new friends at Meddy's. He enjoys long naps in
the sunshine or on a soft blanket, gentle petting, and an occasional
canned food treat (much to everyone's nasal dismay).
Other
noted appearances can be seen as the poster-kitty for the Wayne County
Humane Society's donation can in our front window area. Onyx is also
studying his massage techniques daily and will welcome any willing
participant's lap. |
